Our journey began in 2015 when a few brave souls got the wild-assed idea that Front Royal, with its vibrant outdoor culture, real people, and appreciation of everything unpretentious, was a natural beer town. Over a few brews, our founders decided to invest their time and money in making FRB – and great beer – a reality. After many false starts and a few near-death experiences, we’ve now assembled a talented team that has beer brewing in a massive ten barrel brewing system and all kinds of treats roasting, searing, and braising in the kitchen. Craft beer mecca, gourmet restaurant, sports bar, beer hall, dope outdoor area – take your pick. FRB has it all.
Tim Arndt started his brewing quest by experimenting in his basement as a home brewer seven years ago. His hobby quickly became an obsession. Creating concoctions and trying new techniques, Tim perfected his craft. His desire to push the envelope with quality, fresh ingredients drove him to seek out Homebrew Clubs in the area. Tim has served as The Shenandoah Valley Homebrewers Guild President from 2012- 2017. He is also a BJCP Judge (Beer Judge Certification Program) and Certified Cicerone Beer Server. To beer enthusiasts in the Shenandoah Valley, Tim is a brewing wizard. Front Royal Brewing Company is proud to have him as our head brewer, and can’t wait to share his ever-changing adventurous creations with you .
